Municipal (12, 5€) Albergue Municipal, follow the signs from outside the church. Keys from the exhibition centre beside the church. Kitchen, laundry facilities. Nice, modern facilities. Tel 626 752 622 Open 10:00
Café Bar Stop on the square opposite the church does decent food. The shop has no sign, to get there turn right out the albergue door, take the second street on the left and ring the doorbell of the house facing you at the end. Shop entrance around the corner. (shop reported to have closed March 2023)
ATTENTION! Since the closure of Casa Anita, Santa Marta has turned into an accommodation bottleneck with the albergue often filling up early in the day. You would be wise to get here early or to have a Plan B. One possible alternative is to walk west along the main road (N-525) for 5km to Camarzana de Tera where Hotel Juan Manuel has a warm welcome and singles from 35€ breakfast included. They also have a good restaurant. Website www.hoteljuanmanuel.es Tel 980 649 019. There are cafés, shops and a pharmacy nearby and you can rejoin the Camino in about 2km by walking west along the N-525 and turning left on to the ZA-105.
