Dia supermarket on the Camino on the left just before the Amigos albergue. Other shops, cafés, banks, pharmacies, etc., all on the Camino as it winds its way through Zafra's beautiful town centre. 

La Barca near the Amigos albergue, does platos combinados and local wines - both excellent.

Restaurante La Rebotica on Calle Boticas, comes highly recommended, although it’s not cheap.
